ADS1015: AC cap. between AINs pin

Hi ,

   I'd like to confirm these AC cap. necessary on ADS1015. C5/C7 put between pin 7/6, and pin 4/5 on user guide. Customer designs 4 channels input in single end. Do we still need C5 and C7? I see there are RC filter on AIN pin also. Are they still necessary, and following these RC values?

    Hi Alan,

    The differential caps are not necessary for single-ended inputs and are primarily there to help with the in common mode noise with differential signals. 

    The RC filter is there mainly to prevent aliasing and reducing noise on the input and is mentioned in section 9.1.5 in the data sheet.
