Hello Laszlo, what advantages would you see in a leaded packages over QFN? Footprint/board size would be larger.

Hello Ralph,

I am bulding small volume electronics for funs, like many other freelancer. I can solder VQFN package manually in case of need, but leaded packages makes life easier.

In these handmade products for singleboard computer, the board size fit to the computer and it is not as important as complication in soldering.
