ADS1299: Data converters forum

Part Number: ADS1299

Hello,

As I read the datasheet of the ADS 1299 for the decoupling capacitors, I find that it is much confusing.
I am using the device with Bipolar Power Supply, +2.5V and -2.5V.

DATASHEET - SECTION 6

- no mention about 0.1uF capacitors.

- no difference between unipolar or bipolar supply.

DATASHEET - SECTION 11

"Bypass each device supply with10-μF and 0.1-μF solid ceramic capacitors."

Bypass AVDD to GND or AVSS ?

DATASHEET - SECTION 11.3 (BIPOLAR OPERATION)

- No specific decoupling from AVDD to AVSS ?
- No need for specific decoupling capacitor on AVDD1 ?

EVALUATION MODULE - SCHEMATIC

- A bunch of decoupling capacitor, but we don't see where they are really used.

- Some AVDD to AGND, some AVDD to AVSS, ...  do they all go on the ADS1299 or some are for the op-amp on the same page ?

CONCLUSION

So, 4 different places for information, but not always clear.

What is the correct information ?

Thank you
