DAC39J84: SPI communication between two devices with different address width and data width

Part Number: DAC39J84

I am working with DAC39J84 and LMK04828B devices. Each one of them have SPI communication connected to a CPLD. LMK04828B has a 16bit Address and 8 bit data, DAC39J84 has 8bit address and 16bit data. Does the devices recognize 32bit register map with 16bit address and 16bit data, if so which is best way to append it ?

The other way is to use two SPI controllers for which I don't have enough room on the CPLD. I would appreciate if you could let me know the best way to communicate to these two devices?
