DAC43401-Q1: Maximum value of Vout DC output impedance

Hi team,

Customer wil connect DAC43401-Q1 output to TLV4197-Q1. Customer wants to simulate the DC accuracy of TLV4197 output. In order to simulate the DC accuracy, the need the maximum value of VOUT dc output impedance. It looks the datasheet only show typical value of DC output impedance. Could you check if maximum value of DC output impedance is available?

Hi Saito-san,

From the design team: "0.25Ω will hold in the case when VOUT and FB are connected. The worst case DAC output impedance is lesser than 0.25Ω. It will be dominated by trace impedance in the board."

The datasheet describes 0.25ohm of the output impedance as a typical value. So, is 0.25ohm a maximum value when VFB and VOUT is tied together?

Hi Saito-san,

We don't have a tested max value and we don't have additional data on this spec, so I can't give a definite max. But the design team let me know that the worst case DAC output impedance when VFB and VOUT are connected should be less than 0.25Ω.
