Hi team,

Is there any SPICE simulation model for the output opamp in DAC53401-Q1? Customer wants to simulate the phase compensation circuit in case that the load capacitance is close to 1nF(5kohm).

Hi Saito-san,

We have a pspice model for the DACx3x01. The file says DAC53701 but the DACx3401 and DACx3701 have the same output stage. The output impedance and loop gain is modeled accurately, so a stability analysis using these should be ok.

Hi Katlynne-san,

Did you succeed to run the simulation with this model? When I tried to run the simulation, below error message showed up and I couldn't see the plot.

Could you check this model work correctly in PSPICE for TI?

Hi Saito-san,

Please add this .lib file to the cadence library directory: C:\Cadence\PSpiceTI\tools\pspice\library

Then in the simulation settings add the include the path to the .lib file.

This should remove the error.

Hi Katlynne-san,

Thanks to your advice, I could run the simulation and I could get the phase margin result of the output amp from step response.
