Hello Sir/Ms.

My customer is looking for IC for their new product.

The specifications of my client are as follows.
16bit ADC, 863kps, Difference input ch *2
OP + PGA +ADC
I have discussed with customers that the ADC specifications of ADS1115 meet their requirements, but the input terminal lacks OP AMP.
Does TI have such an IC?

Hi Kami,

not exactly. The buffer + PGA are placed after the Mux in this and most of our other devices.
Is there a specific reason why the customer would want the buffers in front of the Mux?

Hello Joachim,

OP AMPs are needed before the signal enters the MUX because it requires a different magnification. The customer told me that they were not using a voltage amplifier, and OP customers designed it as a transimpedance amplifier.
I will also show the IC you introduced to the customer at the same time, and I will ask his opinion.

Hi Kami,

if the customer needs to establish a transimpedance amplifier in front of the Mux then he will always need an external OpAmp with our ADCs. We don't have ADCs that allow to configure an OpAmp as a transimpedance amplifier unfortunately.

Maybe you should also explore the DDC family of devices from TI then, such as the DDC112?
