I have a related question:

So I bought the same Kit (BP-DAC11001EVM and MSP-EXP432E401Y) and I got stuck in the same error as Allison Ma.

I tried the answer which Akhilesh K provided, but the error is equivalent. On the bottom left corner sad the Software: “Hardware not Connected  Failed to Connect”. I tried the option over the Serial Port Configuration menu. When I plug the Device in the  my PC recognize the port as usual and I can select between two Ports. I tried both and also the other USB Port on the EVAL Board but nothing worked as expected.  

I attached a Picture of the Successfully programmed Console.  

In addition a picture of the Software and a picture of the Device Manager.

    It looks like you are loading the firmware correctly. When you open the GUI with the MSP-EXP432E401Y connected, which micro USB port are you plugged into? It should be U7, the one closer to the lager ethernet port. I think this may be your problem.

    Also make sure the 5V-OTG jumper is mounted as shown in the first step in the figure.

    Thanks a lot for this fast response. Yeah sure i did the connection as showed in the description. I tried Both USB connection. When I connect the USB Cable to the one which is near to the Ethernet Port my PC does not recognize any Port.

    Can you remove the DAC EVM and see if you can get the MSP-EXP432E401Y to connect on it's own. When you select the connect hardware button, you would see a message that the AEVM has been detected. 

    Try unplugging the  MSP-EXP432E401Y and closing out of the GUI completely. Then opening the GUI with only the  MSP-EXP432E401Y connected through the micro USB port closets to the ethernet port.

    I tried it as you descripted it but my PC does not recognize any port or Device. I clicked on the connect button but the error was the same. I also tried to identify the device in the Device Manager but no Device has appeared when I plug in the EVAL Board.

    When you have J6 removed and the 5V-OTG jumper placed, is there a green power LED that turns on when you plug the board into your computer? 

    When you load the firmware, can you try using this attached .bin file to see if it makes any difference?acctrl.0.3.0.3b.bin

    For your First Question: I placed the jumper as you descripted at and as shown in the picture. When I plug in the USB cable to the USB port on the XDS110 side, a green LED is shown up. But when I plug in the USB cable near to the Ethernet socket no LED is shining.   

    For the second Question:  The Upload was successfully, but the error is still the same.  

    And there are some pictures of the configuration.

    So tried the same process on another computer. Additionally I tried different cables, also the Online GUI Composer and the Offline version. Ohh and I also tried both USB connector. Nevertheless, it seems nothing worked. The error is still the same. The first device I tried was a PC with the windows 10 Education 1909 Version and the other device, which I tried today, was a Surface Laptop with the Windows 10 Pro 21h1 version.

    After connecting usb cable did you observed more heat on device ? (not working end )

    No, I not noticed more heat everything seems like colder as finger temperature. Should I try with a thermal Camera?

    I think there may be issue in MSP-EXP432E401Y Launch pad.  I will send you new MSP-EXP432E401Y board so that you can try.
