What is the exact group delay formula of ADS1284? One of our customers needs this information.

    Hello Amy,

    The answer depends if the linear and minimum phase delay is selected using the PHASE bit (reg: 0x01[2]). 

    There's some more text in the datasheet if you'd like to read more, but the equation for linear is going to be 31/f_data regardless of the input fundamental frequency. The minimum phase filter, as you can see is, a little more complicated (and this is only given for f_data = 500Hz).

    If you have more info on your exact use-case, specifically data rate, it would help me get a better answer in a more timely fashion if you want the specific equation for the minimum phase filter trendline.
