TSW14J57EVM: When send signal in AFE74xx_TX_Mode 4, It seems works wrong,lost data when loading file

AFE7422 and TSW14J57, use Mode 4 in DAC page. load this data, I can see a pluse CW signal output,like this

actually the data i send like this. it lost data,when load the file?????

Hi Li,

It is possible you are seeing this issue because the DAC link is being disturbed. To fix this you will need to switch to the transceiver mode ini file.

Before switching ini files make sure that you can confirm the presence of the tone created by HSDC Pro at the DAC output. When you confirm the presence of the DAC output you can then switch ini files to the transceiver mode ini "AFE74xx_TX_MODE4_xcvr" and press send again. Once this change has been made you should then be able to load an external pattern and send that to the DAC.

Attached are instructions on how to use the AFE7422 with the TSW14J57 and how to create the AFE74xx_TX_MODE4_XCVR ini file. When creating the modified ini file please make sure that it is named differently from the original.

It is not the reason, I try again,but it still not work. where can I download the FPGA project, I want to debug it in FPGA project.

I use it with Quartus 16.1 standard , first time it warn me upgrade IP, and then upgrade failed .Only the Qsys does not show the version. the other ip vision is 16.1,and do not need upgrade

Hi Li Yang,

In Quartus did you try to upgrade the IP using the Manual Upgrade option, using the Upgrade in Editor button?
