ADS1256: Simultaneous Sampling

Hi sir,

Can this device do simultaneous sampling?  or not?
For example, if 8 identical waveforms are input in a single ended input，
Will different phases of analog-to-digital conversion timing deviate?

    Hi Frank,

    The ADS1256 cannot measure multiple channels simultaneously. The ADS1256 is a multiplexed ADC, so there would be some phase difference between samples on different channels.

    If you want a 24-bit ADC, I would suggest looking at the ADS131E08 or ADS131M08 for a 24-bit, 8-ch, simultaneous sampling ADC. You could also use 2x ADS131A04.
