TLC3578: Reference current at VREF = 4.0V

Hi Experts,

There is a spec for reference current as below. This is the condition when VREF is 5V. 

What is the reference current at 4.0V? Is it almost same as above?

  • Hi Uchikoshi,

    The average current will be slightly lower, assuming you are running with an external 25MHz conversion clock.  Peak currents are drawn as each bit is converted and the values shown in the datasheet would be the average current drawn over the conversion period.
