Hi Experts,
I am considering if ADS1274 design can be directly downgrade to ADS1174 without any PCB change.
In old ADS1274 design the device is configured in high resolution mode, CLKDIV=1, MODE1=0, MODE0=1. This operation mode is basically same as high speed mode of ADS1174 except for different resolution. However when I checked the configuration pins I found to configure ADS1174 to high speed mode it should be configured as: MODE0=0, (MODE1 is internally pulled high). This means the old ADS1274 design cannot be directly downgrade to ADS1174 through simply change device 1274 to 1174, the configuration of MODE0/1 must be changed. Is my understanding correct?
