Hello William,

The thermal information available is all listed in the datasheet. This information though can be used to solve for other desired parameters.

Thank you for the response.

I wanted the junction temperature value because I have to calculate the power dissipation for the thermal analysis.

As per your suggestion I could calculate the Pd using the formula, but datasheet does not provide these values.
Since this is an ADC, I don't think there will be Vin/Vout/Iout/Iground values and if somehow I was able to get these values they will be of Analog Input and Digital output data lines and I don't think the Pd will purely depend on the data lines.

Please clarify if I am wrong.

Power dissipation for this device is largely due to AVDD current, all other sources would be small enough to be dismissed, or estimated. Looking at the datasheet, figures 26 and 27 show the current consumption of AVDD.

All other values would vary depending on sampling rate and voltage, though all still would be comparably small to I_AVDD.

SAR ADC Power Scaling - The ADS7042 in fact was the device used through out this video as an example, thus the values solved for can be used as for your application.
