DAC7750: bidirectional current output

Hi,

I have been using DAC7750 for my application where the output (constant) current requirement is in b/w 0-2mA. 
Now, I have a similar application where the output (constant) current requirement is in b/w -2mA to 2mA.

Can you please suggest:
a) How can I use DAC7750 for this?
b) Any alternative IC? (DAC8771 should work for this purpose but it is out of stock).

    Lakshay,

    I think the best fit device for a bipolar current source would likely be the DAC8771. It does have a bipolar current range available for the device. If you're interested in evaluating one, I believe that EVMs are available.

    Another thought is to use a voltage output DAC and add some sort of V to I converter stage to make a bipolar output. This might be a good option if the application is cost sensitive. The DAC80501 might be a good fit for this type of application.
