ADC3664: Are there any distributors you can recommend from ADC?

Part Number: ADC3664
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4551, , THS4541

This is a process in which the infrared signal passing through the photodiode and external noise must be input to the FPGA through the ADC.

In the case of a high-performance ADC, the input is differential. Does TI have an IC that divides the input signal 180 degrees differentially?

  • Hello,

Yes, TI has several fully differential amplifiers (FDA) that take a single-ended signal, and converts to a differential signal (180 degree phase difference).

On the ADC3664EVM, we use the THS4541 to provide a differential signal to the ADC inputs, but there are other options available based on the bandwidth (and other considerations) for your application. The THS4551 is also popular with the ADC366x family of ADCs, and is used for lower bandwidth/power requirements than the THS4541.
