DAC161S997EVM: DAC161S997EVM Setup fail

Hi,

Can you let me know the following?

1. Go to Device Manager and see the EVM is detected there or not?

2. Which version of OS are you running? please note that this EVM is tested only upto Win 7.

3. Are you getting this screen, showing EVM is Connected ( Green) in bottom right corner?  If no, please try to change the COM port

Windows7、Windows10 have same issue

follow up install the new driver, still have Error as below。

Hi,

Make sure you are installing Labview Run time engine version 2014. Download it from the below link and try it.

I assuming you are using 32bit version.

Alex,

One thing that you should check is to make sure that the EVM has loop power connected. I think that if the loop power is disconnected from the EVM, you may get a similar timeout error. 

How do you have the power connected to the EVM? Can you describe all the power and external connections to the EVM?
