DAC8162-Q1: Any required change/modification when replacing to DAC8162-Q1 in DAC8162 (non-Q1) design ?

Part Number: DAC8162-Q1

Hi,

My customer is currently using DAC8162SDGSR in their system.

Now, they want to switch to automotive qualified DAC8162SQDGSRQ1.

Will there be any possible problem if they use DAC8162SQDGSRQ1 in their system, which is designed for DAC8162SDGSR (non Q1) ?

Checking both datasheet, I found only difference are…

     - ESD rating (AEC-Q100 vs. JEDEC)

     - “Code-change total glitch amplitude” parameter is added in Q1 datasheet

Other than the above, I could not find any difference.

Are there anything technical my customer has to take care of when they change device from DAC8162SDGSR to DAC8162SQDGSRQ1 ?

Or can they just replace to DAC8162SQDGSRQ1 without any modification ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best Regards,
