I received a question from my customer about TSC2007.
Could you give us the following information in comparison with TSC2004?
・ Does TSC2007 have a slower response speed than TSC2004? (Use the same key switch.)
・ Can you provide materials that can explain the differences in specifications?
They are considering switching to the lower priced TSC2007.

Hello Higa, the biggest difference that is mentioned in comparison table is the max sample rate: 154 vs 100 KSPS, of course the package and number of pins are also different. There are other differences such as TSC2007 has touch non-detection mode.
From datasheet of TSC2007 , you can see it is compatible with TSC2003. There is a nice comparison document for TSC2003 and 2007 ( search for SLAA364–July 2007), but I could not find such a specific document for TSC2007 vs TSC2004. Your best option is to verify the replacement part meets the needed specs. At any rate it is not drop in compatible as the number of pins are not the same.
