ADC3664EVM: Need Details for compatible FPGA board support

Part Number: ADC3664EVM

Hi,

One of my customer wants to use ADC3664EVM to interface with their won FPGA board but ADC board is not showing any compatible FPGA board. We need part numbers of FPGA boards which are directly connect with FPGA board through FMC connector.

Pls. help

Mitesh

  • Hi Mitesh,

The ADC3664EVM interfaces with the TI TSW1400 capture card. The user can install TI's HSDC Pro to process the captured data.

The board was designed with standard mapping for FMC connectors. Other captures cards can be used, but the customers will have to develop their own FPGA IP.

  • Amy,

Customer is aware that it is compatible with TSW1400, they want to interface with standard FPGA board to run their own algorithms and hence we want to know which standard FPGA board can be interfaced with adc evm. Is it xilinx or onsemi?

On TSW1400 board they can not implement their algorithms.

  • Hi Mitesh,

The ADC3664EVM was designed with the standard mapping for FMC connectors. The customer will have to do some checking to ensure that a standard mapping configuration is compatible with any FGPA that has the capability to implement their algorithms.

  • Amy,

if you see the snapshot- last highlighted line, we are specifying that it is to allow easy integration to FPGA development platform, they want to know which FPGA board we are talking about?

They will check for their FPGA board but question is what board we are taking about?

  • Hi Mitesh,

This could be any type of FPGA development platform (Xilinx, etc.) that uses the standard mapping for FMC connectors. If the customer has found an FPGA that can implement their algorithms, they can reach out to those vendors for guidance on integrating the ADC3664EVM.
