It seems like the firmware update did not happen successfully as seen in the image below.
Please ask customer to upgrade the firmware again following the same procedure as outlined in section 7 of the AFE4404EVM user guide. Please note that the switch SW2 must be pressed while the USB cable from the EVM is being plugged into the PC. Only release the switch after the application displays 'Found 1 device'.

I tried your suggestion again. When I repaired the firmware (GUI1.2.2) on win7 virtual machine, it didn‘t work. When I repaired the firmware (GUI1.2) on win7 system, it worked.
