DAC5311-Q1: Supply Voltage

Part Number: DAC5311-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC5311, DAC53204, DAC53701, DAC53401

Hello Team,

I would like to confirm if the minimum supply voltage of 1.8V is accurate for the DAC5311-Q1? I checked that the catalog version DAC5311 rated supply is changed from 1.8 V to 2.0 V.

What is the reason the rated minimum supply voltage has been increased from 1.8V to 2.0V?  Are there any products that support a minimum analog supply voltage of 1.8V?

Regards,

Renan

  • Hi Renan,

Yes, the 1.8V VDD is accurate for the DAC5311-Q1. Changes in the DAC5311 datasheet were done to accurately reflect device characteristics. There are a few other differences in the DAC5311 datasheet from the DAC5311-Q1, and the DAC5311 datasheet also includes the other resolution versions. The DAC5311-Q1 datasheet is still accurate for the DAC5311-Q1.

    The DAC53701, DAC53401, and DAC53204  support a minimum supply voltage of 1.8V.

    Best,
