The ADS129x datasheet says all unused inputs should be tied high. Since the one datasheet encompasses different devices with different numbers of inputs, the statement is a bit nebulous.
Are inputs defined for the ADS1298 but not for the ADS1294 (like inputs 5-8) considered unused inputs or not present at all.
In other words, if I am using an ADS1294, should I tie inputs 5-8 high or leave them floating?
