In the documentation (https://software-dl.ti.com/jacinto7/esd/processor-sdk-rtos-jacinto7/06_01_01_12/exports/docs/tidl_j7_01_00_01_00/ti_dl/docs/user_guide_html/md_tidl_fsg_quantization.html), It is mention that TI provides per-channel quantization for depth wise convolution Parameters. I had a question, how many channels are included in per-channel quantization?

Hi Bhargav,

I didn't understand you question. Per channel quantization means each channel is quantized separately. Are you looking for some other information?

I mean, is there any upper limit on how many channels can be quantized? For example, If an image has 5 channels then all the channels will be quantized separately?

Hi,

There is no limit in terms of number of channels but currently per channel weight quantization on TDA4VM device is only supported for power of 2 quantization.
