ADS8688A: Software modify requirement when replacing ADS8688 to ADS8688A.

Dear Dale,

Since ADS8688 supply shortage, customer is qualifying ADS8688A for replacement. The external circuit and application are the same as ADS8688. So is there any recommendation between software's that need to change?They didn't use alarm function neither nor wide input range.
