ADS125H01: Can the high voltage analog supplies be driven as single ended (HV_AVss = 0V)?

Hi There-

I've been working with the ADS125H01 and its sister part ADS125H02 in a load cell application. I have 12V, 5V, and 3.3V available on my board, and the load cell is excited at 12V so the two nodes being measured will typically be at 6V each. I'm planning on connecting the HV_AVdd to +12V and I'd like to connect the HV_Avss to 0V as shown below. Is that acceptable for this IC?

Hi Dave,

See section 9.1 in the ADS125H01 datasheet where at the end of the section it states the following regarding the power supplies:

This is information is also restated in the section 11, Power Supply Recommendations. So the short answer is yes, you can use +12 for AVDD and connect AVSS to AGND.
