AMC1035-Q1: UVLO like feature?

Part Number: AMC1035-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1035, AMC3336, AMC1336

Is there a UVLO like feature in the AMC1035-Q1?

What will happen in case of Vcc<3V or Vcc>5.5V? Will the device report an error or will it deliver a wrong measurement?

  • Hi Tobias,

By UVLO, are you referring to Undervoltage Lockout? If so, I am not aware if this feature is available on any of our isolated amplifiers and modulators so I will have to check internally. To my knowledge, the part will still be operational but we cannot guarantee data sheet performance outside of the 3V - 5.5V range. It is difficult to predict how the device will behave outside the recommended power supply range.

Are you or a customer intending to operate the device outside of this range? If so, what is the reason?

    Aaron Estrada

  • Hi Aaron,

Thank you for the quick reply! This is OK for the customer.

The reason for this request is probably to check, which potential failures are caught by the system.

    Regards,
    Tobias

  • Hi Tobias,

I have confirmed that there is an UVLO feature on the AMC1035. it will be the same as our AMC1336 an AMC3336 parts.

    Regards,
    Aaron
