TLA2022: What is the lowest cost scheme for isolated collecting 310V voltage

Part Number: TLA2022

no high precision needs

What I can think of is that a low-cost ADC(TLA2022)+ low-cost digital isolator(2 CH) is used to measure the voltage after the 310V is reduced by the voltage dividing resistor.

The ADC with buffer and reference, usually Δ Σ architecture, two wires for I2C interface, so only 2-channel digital isolator is required

Any other suitable solution?

  • Hi Stanley,

Have you checked out or Isolated Modulators and Amplifiers? We offer several options when it comes to isolation. Additionally, do you have any other application information? What end equipment will this solution be used in? What processor is the customer using?

We offer isolated modulators and amplifiers for voltage and current measurements. The input range can vary from +/- 50mV to +/- 2V so knowing as much about the application will help. The isolated modulators will output a digital bitstream of '1s' and '0s' with the density of this bitstream dependent on the input relative to full scale. The output is typically sent to the host processor where a digital filter, usually a SINC filter, filters this bitstream. Our isolated amplifiers are essentially analog in and analog out with some gain implemented in between. The output of the amplifier is typically sent to an ADC.
