ADS1299EEGFE-PDK: what cities should I use to gather data

I bought the ADS1299EEGFE-PDK. I did not change any of the default settings. The only change was removing on of the shorts between J6 pin 27 and 28, and attached the electrode to pin 28. in the software I didn't change any of the settings except for changing channel input to "Bias positive electrode driver" what could be reason for not getting any day?
