Hi,
My Customer is using ADS131M04 to measure a current signal from 0-150A, they set up the sample resistance that the sample voltage reach 1.2V when a 240A current occurs.
However, during testing they find out that when a sudden current increases from 0A to about 120A the DSP/MCU will not able to read the accurate current at all. it seems that it occurs a high frequency noise which above 240A here, but they are not able to test it through oscilloscope. When they try to have a bigger GND area in PCB to reduce the interference, it becomes better. but it still occurs sometimes.
So could you provide some advice/solution to reduce the interference during the current sudden increase? or are there any other reason and solutions to avoid this scenario ?
Thanks!
Manu
