DAC81404: floating SENSENx pin safe ?

Part Number: DAC81404

Hello,

I want to use the DAC81404 and it's ground sense functionality. Therefore, the SENSENx pins shall be brought out of the module on the user connector.
In a normal application, the user would then connect the SENSENx pin with a separate line to the ground.
The SENSEPx pins won't be used and thus connected to the DAC outputs on the board itself.

What happens, if the user mistakenly forgets to connect the SENSENx pin (thus leaving the pin floating) ?
Would this somehow damage the DAC81404 or cause undefined behaviour?
Should the SENSENx pins be pulled-down with a weak pull-down resistor?

Regards,
Marcel
