ADS4242: Clipping at wrong voltage

The datasheet says the ADC can handle a 2 Vpp signal, but in practice the ADC clips and can only handle a 1 Vpp signal. I'm using the ADS4242 EVM board with a signal generator for the input. The input signal is run through an op amp to generate a differential output, and the Vcm out of the ADS4242 is connected to the Vcm input of the amp.

    The default amplifier on this EVM has a gain of 10dB, equating to √10 which is roughly a gain of 3.2V/V. I imagine the input loss on this EVM due to the double balun setup is contributing to ~4dB of loss which is setting the overall input gain through the amplifier to 6dB = 2V/V. You can adjust the gain to a lower value by adjusting the value of Rf, Rg.
