I have a ADS7066 chip and the ADS7066 EVM. The chip works fine when running with the EVM platform and TI software. When we connect the chip into our system (unplugging the EVM from the platform and attaching to our circuit which is a Rasberry PI 4) we can send RST to register 1. We will read back a 0 then subsequent writes to any register always return the value that is being sampled on channel 0. We didnt program the device to start acquiring or setup channel 0. Is there a startup sequence I am missing?

    Hello John,

    Thank you for your post. Could you draw a schematic drawing or picture illustrating the connections between the ADS7066EVM daughterboard your Raspberry Pi board? Are AVDD, DVDD, and GND connected properly to the ADS7066 and measure as expected at the device pins?
