ADS1602: ADS1602 SNR test software

Part Number: ADS1602

According to the following link, I know there's NO ADS1602 EVM.

ADS1601: Is there EVM or reference design of ADS1601 chip? - Data converters forum - Data converters - TI E2E support forums

According to the following link(slau147), I know there should have been a ADS1602 EVM long time ago.

I'd like to know how you test ADS1602's SNR? There might be a software that can read from EVM and show SNR result(like below).

Can you give the software download link? Let me test my ADS1602's SNR on my PCB.

  • Hi James,

TI's Analog Engineer Calculator can be used to calculate and show the FFT result including SNR, it cab be downloaded here. Below is a screenshot, fyi.

To do that, you will have to do

    • Apply a clean full-scale input sinewave to you ADC on your circuit board, then capture the raw data.
    • Load your raw data into the Data Analysis Tool Kit page according to the specified data file format which can be checked by clicking the 'Help'.

    Best regards,

    Dale
