Hi TI team,

I found this tool while looking for an isolated amplifier for voltage sensing:

I am interested in AMC1400 but I cannot select this device in the excel file. Do you know why?

For you info, I am designing a circuit to sense +/-1000V with an accuracy of +/-2%.

Hi Abderrahman,

This is a known bug in the calculator, I'm working on the next revision and this fix will be implemented with the Rev C release as well.

I'm the mean time, please see attached.

Additionally, please be aware that sensing a high impedance node with a low input impedance device comes with some challenges as discussed in this application note: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sbaa350a/sbaa350a.pdf

If your accuracy requirement includes the voltage divider and ADC without gain calibration, you may want to consider using an opamp on the front end.

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the low input impedance of AMC1400, I know I have to add R3' and perform an offset and gain calibration. I don't know if I can reach the required accuracy (2%) especially for low voltages values, but this is another topic I have to check.
