ADS1292: RLD Schematic design issue

Part Number: ADS1292

Hi team:

My customer use ADS1292 in their ECG module. They want to use PLDINV pin but not use amplifier,so can you kindly explain how to deal with PLDINV  PLDOUT and PLDIN/PLDREF pin .

Best Regards.

  • Hi,

Please refer to datasheet figure 40, the description under Figure 40 and page 57.

"If the RLD function is not used, the amplifier can be powered down using the PDB_RLD bit."

Then, if depends on what customer want to do with RLDINV and RLDIN/RLDREF, they have options to either connect or disconnect RLDxP or RLDxN switches. If they don't want to feed any ECG signal to RLDINV, they can disconnect all the RLDxP and RLDxN., or vice versa.

Datasheet Page 4 Pin Functions (continued)

describe what to do to RLDINV and RLDIN/RLDREF if not use i.e. tie to AVDD

    Thanks.
