Hi Team,
My customer is getting a different address in their setup, please see details below.
I believe that I have found a mistake in your documentation for the ADS1219. It involves setting the slave address, when setting the address SCL to A0 and SDA to A1 I get the reverse setup. With the setup that I described, I was expecting an address of Hex 4b. However I got an address of hex 4e which is a physical setup of SCL to A1 and SDA to A0 according to your document (document ADS1219 SBAS924A –JULY 2018–REVISED NOVEMBER 2018)
Thank you.
Regards,
May
Hi Maynard,
I don't see anything wrong with the datasheet address table when comparing to the digital designer's original table. Do you have the customer's schematic? And do you know which package of the ADS1219 the customer is using? If they are getting the opposite response, has the customer verified that they have correctly assigned the A0 and A1 pins to the correct package pins in their schematic symbol?
I suppose that they could also have a timing issue where the address is getting decoded incorrectly. Can you see if the customer can provide logic analyzer or oscilloscope shots of SDA and SCL?
Best regards,
Bob B
