ADS54J60: temperature calibration Gain / IL

Part Number: ADS54J60

Hello,

IL correction does not perform well, if a low DC offset is given in Signal or intermitting small signal and large signal.

We need to use frozen IL, DC coupling, random signal from customer, typ. 1Gsps.

Is there a possibility to readout result-registers of IL to perform a temperature calibration like for offset-engine ?

At the moment gain is more interesting than IL-timing, if that is not affected by temperatue change.

At least this is a request to full IL documentation.

Best regards,

Stefan Verse

  • Hi Stefan,

Please use this link to access instructions to freeze the IL and the configuration files with the necessary register writes:

  • Thanks Amy,

but this is already known, what we are looking for is the low level gain adjust for a temperature calibration like it is possible for the poffset.

We want low-level register access to read out values of IL at a certain temperature to write them back later.

  • Hi Stefan,

The instructions and configuration files at the link above contain the instructions and low-level writes to freeze and re-write the values. Temperature variations increase discrepancies in the DC offset values between the interleaved cores. The external DC offset correction was developed to maintain the amplitude of the interleaving spurs over temperature changes and using this feature is the best-case performance for the device.

Can you clarify what you mean by the ‘low level gain adjust’ for a temperature calibration? Can you share captures of the issue you are seeing?

    Regards, Amy
