Dear team, 

Would you please help provide the corresponding meaning when setting up on EVM basic  block diagram? My customer had difficulty when understanding the meaning of each item and software code meanings. It is also welcome you can share some technical explanations to them on line. Thanks!

    The settings directly under device are configurations for the entire device and all 4 DAC channels.
    Reference Out - Controls Internal Reference
    Power Off Condition - State of Output Pins when DAC isn't powered
    RESET - Resets DAC
    CLEAR - Clears DAC
    All DAC Data - Sets all 4 DAC Channels to same code
    All Buck Boost - Controls all Buck-Boost at once
    READ ALL - Reads all DACs at once
    READ ALARMS - Reads all Alarms at once

    Next, there are 4 identical DAC channels (A, B, C, D). You are able to customize each channel individually to fit your needs.

    The Buck-Boost square has settings relating to the specified Buck-Boost channel. A Buck-Boost converter can generate all of the analog power supplies needed for the output.
    Mode - Select between different Buck-Boost modes (datasheet pg 38-39 explains in depth)
    Enable - Choose what type of power supplies to generate (Positive, Negative, Both, None)
    High-Side CLMP - Max positive voltage able to be generated
    Positive/Negative CLMP - positive and negative clamp settings

    Slew Control allows for the user to control the rate the outputs change when updated. The user can effectively control the slope of the output when it changes.
    Enable - Enable Slew Control
    Clock - Rate at which the output will be updated by the step size.
    Step Size - Maximum change the output will go through when triggered by the clock

    DAC Calibration allows for the accuracy of the DAC to be tuned to the user's liking. Any small errors in the DAC's output can usually be resolved by correctly calibrating the device.
    Enable - Enables the calibration
    Offset - Voltage offset of the output
    Gain - "Multiplier" of the output (by default = 1 = 0x8000)

    DAC Output
    Mode - Range of DAC output
    Data - Current code input
    Clear Select - What the DAC will revert to when cleared
    Vout Current Limit - limit of the output current
    Clear Enable - Allows the channel to be cleared or not
    HART-Enable -  Enables the HART pin for the selected channel
    Output Enable - Allows the output to be updated

    Alarm - Will light up green when an Alarm is present
    CLEAR A,B,C,D - Clear the respective channel.

    The DAC8775 datasheet has additional technical explanations for most of these fields.
