AMC3336-Q1: how to use MCU sample DOUT signal

Hi Expert,

Our customer use AMC3336-Q1 for the first time. They don't have a very clear idea about how to use MCU to generate CLKIN and sample DOUT. I don't see this part in EVM User's Guide. May you help share some comments about how to use this device into a system? It will be the best if you have reference design. Thanks.

Hi Elec,

The output of the AMC3336 or AMC3336-Q1 is a bit-stream that must be filtered either through an FPGS, CPLD or micro that has a dedicated 'Sigma Delta Filter Module' (SDFM). You can find the SFDM on various MSP430 processors as well as our C2000 family or Sitara processors. The choice of filter option would depend on the end application. For motor control, it might be C2000. For a metering application it could be MSP430. Tell us more about what you want to do and we can point you to additional information.
