Hello sir,

           I  am planning to design a weigh scale board.i m familiar with the adc ic cs 5460.but i m looking for the good precision.can u please suggest me some of  good adc ic other than cs5460.

          i got some details about adc ic ads1226 from internet.what is ur opinion about using ads1226 in weigh scale.and also the approximate price of the ic.

    Ajith,

    The ADS1226 was not designed specifically for weigh scale applications.  However, the ADS1230, ADS1231, ADS1232 and ADS1234 have been designed for weigh scales.  If you go to:

    www.ti.com

    website and search the various parts you can find more information about them as it relates to resolution and gain variations available for the parts.  Farther down on the product pages is information regarding pricing.

    Also, each of these parts have reference designs/evaluation boards.
