ADC12DJ4000RFEVM: bringup issue

hi,

We just purchsed ADC12DJ4000RFEVM along with the TSW14J57.

Having some trouble bringing up ADC12DJ4000RFEVM. Main issue:

1. The ADC GUI doesn;t seem to recognize the ADC12DJ4000RFEVM. The GUI for TSW14J57 does recognize the FPGA though. The USB status in ADCxxDJxx0RF GUI doesn't trung green. So far we haven;t made any modifications to the board, so trying it in external clock mode where external clock is supplied as well the reference clock.

2. When starting the ADCxxDJxx00RF EVM GUI, I get an error: looking for ftd2xx.dll. Not sure if this has any role in it.

please advise.

Hi Gaurav,

Looks like when you install the ADC12DJ4000EVM gui the FTDI driver is not getting installed properly to the PC.

When you see above message please click browse and go to following location on you pc.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\High Speed Data Converter Pro

and select ftd2xx.dll file

Hi Neeraj, thanks for the tip. I was able to move 1 more step. However, now i get the following error:

(USB is connected, i see a green light on the ADC board, but PC doesnt seem to be able to detect the board)

BTW, one update, i was able to resolve the above, but I now I get the follwoing message:

It seems the FPGA EVM and ADC EVM are still not communicating.
