ADS54J66: Minimum and maximum acceptable input voltage of ADC input

Part Number: ADS54J66

Hi

Nominal value of analog input is mentioned as 1.9V.Absolute ratings from -0.3V to 3V.

What is the recommended minimum to maximum voltage level at analog inputs ?

Thanks in advance

  • Sarojini,

The VCM for the analog input is internally biased to 1.9V. The differential input swing is 1.9V. This means that each half of the differential signal can swing 0.95V around the VCM. This sets the voltage at the analog inputs to 1.9V +- 0.475V to achieve full-scale, that is 1.425V and 2.375V, respectively. Ideally, the voltage at the analog input stays below full-scale. Keep in mind this is the voltage at the ADC pins and does not account for front end loss.

    Regards, Chase
