ADS54J20: Serial output data rate max. 6.25 Gbps

Hi!

In various places of the ADS54J20 data sheet, the data rate is specified with 5 or 10 Gbps (depending on LMFS configuration).

However, this is contradicted in the section "7.8 Timing Characteristics -> JESD OUTPUT INTERFACE TIMING CHARACTERISTICS". There the "Serial output data rate" is specified with max. 6.25 Gbps.

Am I misunderstanding something or is one of the two statements wrong?

Hi Andre,

Thanks for catching this - you are correct, this is a data sheet error. The ADS54J42 is rated for 6.25 Gbps, so it appears that this was mistakenly added to the other datasheets. Please refer to the ADS54J60 for the most up-to-date information.
