ADC128S102-SEP: ADC128S102-SEP

Part Number: ADC128S102-SEP

I want to check for this part ADC128S102PWTSEP, if it has a cavity inside, to see if we need to do a PIND test or not.

Please advise,

Thank you very much,

Salwa

  • Hello Cynthia,

    Any update please?

    Thank you,

    Salwa

  • Apologies for the delay Salwa, I have updated the response below

PIND testing is not conducted on SEP plastics because it is not relevant, but the products are hermetically sealed package and thus not have cavities that are sufficiently large nor of appropriate composition to be of concern for PIND testing. Below is the statement from our engineers on the topic.

No appreciably large air cavities are present in the product to merit concerns of mechanically stimulated particulate contamination leading to electrical failures or EOS events which would give cause for PIND testing. Instead, coverage for pre-existing particulate contamination is in place by means of final electrical test coverage at production.

    Hopefully this helps

    Regards
