ADS112C04: Power-Down of I2C Master

Part Number: ADS112C04
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1115

Dear Ti Engineers,

I`m planning to use the ADS112C04 for thermocouple (TC) measurement with an automatic power-on and off if the TC is connected or disconnected (See attached Schematic). In this application, I'd like to keep the I²C-Master powered off while the ADS112 is in Power-Down-Mode.

The Pull-Up-Resistors R10 and R11 for the I²C-Interface are powered from the Master, so they will have a LOW-Level while Master is powered off and ADS112 is in Power-Down-Mode. Will this have any influence on the ADS112's behaviour in Power-Down-Mode, e.g. a higher current consumption?

Kind regards

Leonard
