ADC3683EVM: ADC 35XX EVM GUI not working

Part Number: ADC3683EVM

I downloaded and installed ADC 35XX EVM GUI.exe from the TI webpage for ADC3683EVM as an administrator. I did the same for HSDC Pro software. I installed the latest version HSDC PRO v5.20. When I run ADC 35XX EVM GUI.exe, a screen pops up showing 'TI Latte ADC 35XX EVM GUI' and then closes after which nothing happens. I also ran Latte.exe just to see if that solves something. Again, I get a screen that says 'TI Latte Analog EVM Gui' and then closes. The HSDC Pro seems to be working fine and is recognizing my TSW1400 board. The issues is that, without configuring the device correctly using its GUI, the results displayed in capture window of HSDC Pro seem to be way off. How do I get the EVM GUI working?

    Hi Akash,

    Try running the task manager and ensure that there are not any additional ADC35XX EVM GUI's running in the background. If there are several, close out of them and then try launching the GUI again. If it does not automatically connect to the board, try the 'reconnect USB' option. Let us know if you continue to run into issues.

    Hi Amy,

    We managed to solve the issue. It was actually that although the GUI was installed and run with administrator access, two different accounts with admin access had done that. It seems that it needs to be installed and run by the same admin account.
