ADS5474: Life Cycle Status.

Hi everyone,

We are considering to include the part ADS5474IPFP in several designs, which will have a long life. The part fits with our design needs and, based in previuos experiencies, we feel comfortable with its performance. Nevertheless, we are concerned about the LCC of the part. According our obsolescence management ERP the situation is not worrying:

  • Estimated YTEOL: 15 (with the note: AT LEAST 10-15 YEARS AND OFTEN EXTEND LONGER).
  • LCC: 3,5

 Could you please confirm the data?. Would you recommend to consider any other CI for the new designs?.

    Ruben,

    1. Currently there is no EOL planned for this device. Also , looking at the manufacturing flow we do not see any EOL risk in future.

    2. TI does not have another part we can offer that is 14-bits, 400Msps, and LVDS output. If you can change any of these requirements, we then could provide some other options.
