Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC7904
Hello,
My customer found that SEC or DED bit errors occurred in some devices while checking the AMC Status Register (offset: 05h) of the AMC7904 after powering on the system.
The following procedures were performed to clear the SEC or DED bit error, but all failed.
1. They initialized all LUT registers of the AMC7904 and performed a power reset after EEPROM burn.
2. They wrote the AMC Status Register (offset: 05h) as 0x26, burned the EEPROM, and performed a power reset.
3. They wrote the Software Reset Register (offset: 07h) to 0x05, 0xAD and performed a power reset after burning the EEPROM.
Q1 In what cases do SEC and DED bit errors occur?
Q2 Is there any way to recover SEC, DEC bit errors? Please tell us.
Thank you.
