ADS131B26Q1EVM-PDK: reason for R66 and R57

Part Number: ADS131B26Q1EVM-PDK

Hi team,

I see the EVM has two 0.1 Ohm resistors (R66 and R57) on the IOVDD and AVDD pins respectively. I don't see any documentation in the datasheet calling for these resistors nor explanation in the EVM user's guide. What's the purpose of these resistors?

Thanks,

Jacob

  • Hi Jacob,

those resistors are only there for us to measure the supply currents of the device. You would not use them in an actual design.
I already asked the applications team to update the schematic with according comments in the schematic.
